To eject the power supply from the rack, simply lift up the release knob and pull the blue extraction handle down. When inserting the unit in the rack, the handle assists the power supply to overcome connector insertion force. The fans are field replaceable to assist service when preventative maintenance is desired. Mating output voltage keying on the rack and power supply avoids a wrong voltage HFE module being inserted in the rack slot.
