The power supply will warn the user if the internal temperature rises to within 10°C of its shut down point. An example of this warning is the over temperature alarm being triggered by a building air-conditioning failure; the user can reduce the system load if the desire is to keep the system functioning. Also, because the DC output has a wide adjustment range, both the over voltage protection and DC Good signal track the output voltage. This greatly reduces the occurrences of false signals. The HFE carries the cUL (listed) mark for the US and Canada and is certified to EN60950-1 for Europe. Additionally, the units meet Class B conducted EMI and Class A radiated standards.
