The isolated PMBus has a three channel A/D converter which measures the output voltage, output current and the internal temperature. It can also be used to set the output voltage and over current limit. The power supplies can also be turned on and off remotely using the digital interface. The interface reports back any alarms; over temperature, over voltage, fan fail, AC input out of range and DC Good, as well as giving over temperature warnings and indicating programming errors. The SMBALERT line communicates directly with the host with warnings and alarms.
