The MCF5227x is supported by a number of additional hardware development tools. The M52277EVB evaluation platform comes with everything needed to start evaluation of the processor as quickly as possible. The MCF5227EVB comes with a 3.5-inch LCD display with a four-wire touch screen controller. There is 16MB of NOR Flash on the system, 16MB of mobile DDR on the system, as well as 2MB of serial boot flash. The included DVD comes with a special edition of the CodeWarrior for ColdFire Version 7.0, access to the complementary open-source Linux Board Support Package, as well as access to several examples and walkthroughs.
