The MCF5227x is supported by two primary LCD development solutions to help quickly design an LCD interface. First, is the NanoX development solution that’s available within the NXP Linux Board Support Package. NanoX is an open-source, Linux-based graphical user interface configuration tool. This tool actually sits within a Linux operating system and interfaces directly with the LCD device driver, serial drivers, as well as the touch screen interface to help quickly design the LCD interface. NanoX also comes with the widget toolkit and a window manager to help customize the look and feel of the LCD interface.
