This graph demonstrates the adaptive power control described on the previous slide. The Efficiency Optimizer starts at a worst case supply voltage, but soon starts to feed current into the feedback pin reducing the output voltage of the power source. The LED driver IC also determines if a LED string falls below saturation and steps up the voltage to ensure that all LEDs are in saturation. The result is a power efficient system positioned at the edge of saturation.
