One of the benefits of staying with the L092 platform in production is that the platform, both hardware and software, are consistent from the early development stage to production. However, in the case where high volumes are needed, the economics of having two devices, an MCU and EEPROM, make the ROM C09x device much more attractive. When discussing the ROM version, this presentation will point out the emulation mode that swaps the L device memory. This enables the same code used in the L development hardware to be used in the C production hardware.
