MSP430L092 Introduction Slide 10

There is a lot that goes into the Analog Pool to provide the flexibility and support for so many different analog functions. For clarity, most of the other pieces have been grayed out so the focus can primarily be on this low voltage reference, and primarily for the implementation of a DAC. Users can see that the reference is a 256 mV reference and a simple resistor divider is used to tap off the appropriate voltage and source the DAC buffer. The DAC register, which defines the output, is an 8-bit register where one LSB will correspond to 1 mV. The 256 mV reference can be made available externally and that is why the 2µA source output has been highlighted.
