The Target Board consists of a TSSOP 14-pin socket for easy device interchanging. It also provides breakout pins for external connectivity or to add on a prototyping board. It also contains an on-board EEPROM, which operates at 3 V; therefore, there is external circuitry required between the L092 and EEPROM to enable this cross voltage communication. The L092 Target Board also has a mini-JTAG connector to connect to the Active Cable Board. On the right-hand side of the screen is a picture of the board.
