Shown here is a screen shot of the Design Calculator for the LM27402 with modeled efficiency data for 12V input to 1.2V output up to 30A maximum.  This tool can help customers design the power supply to their specifications by plotting the efficiency as well as the power dissipation in the FETs and inductor.  The Efficiency and Power Dissipation Analyzer can be used to analyze the performance of the selected MOSFETs in the application.  Power dissipation of the high-side FET, low-side FET, and inductor can be analyzed before the completion of the design to ensure a successful application.
