In summary, the LT1965 is a low noise, low voltage 1.1A LDO with a high power density. It features a low dropout voltage of only 310mV at full load, a wide input capability of 1.8V to 20V and an adjustable output from 1.2V to 19.5V. Ultra-low output noise of only 40µVRMS makes it ideally suited for RF, DSP, instrumentation, and logic supply systems as well as post-regulating switch mode power supplies. The device has a low operating quiescent current of 500µA which drops to less than 1µA when shutdown. The LT1965 is an excellent choice for applications requiring high output drive capability with low current consumption.
