TG4040-D shows no physical change after pressure cycling (to simulate long term industrial use). It does not expand with temperature allowing it to maintain a constant spacing for critical applications. TG4040-D is exceptionally soft and can not be measured using the conventional Shore OO scale. It will adhere to most surfaces but can be easily reworked due to its low force of cohesion and it is designed to work to a maximum 180°C which makes it suitable for most automotive applications. TG4040-D has a low TML and CVCM due to its unique formulation and requires no special storage conditions.
