Ideal for solar or wind powered energy storage systems, the EZA2500 bi-directional DC/DC converter can automatically, and continuously, change conversion direction from “grid side”, 320VDC, nominal to “battery side”, 48VDC nominal. The EZA2500 is also designed to be used for energy recovery; recycling previously wasted power from battery testers, robots, cranes, elevators, and autonomous ground vehicles. This 2500W power supply accepts either a nominal 320VDC or a 48VDC input and converts it into either a 48VDC or 320VDC output. Multiple units can be paralleled for larger systems. The unit can be programmed or monitored using an RS-485 interface and is packaged in a compact 1U high, 19 inch rack-mountable enclosure.
