Pericom has both 3G and 6G SATA/SAS redriver solutions for server, storage, notebook and tablet applications. In 3G, we have 1 port (1 transmit and 1 receive channel) and 2-port ( 4-channels) redrivers with up to 1300mV swing. There is both 1.5V and 3.3V VDD options. 4951 series have been upgraded to 6741 series in 1.05V and 3.3V VDD offering with additional power saving feature of being able to detect when the farend is open and thereby go into additional power saving mode. The PI2EQX6741SL, offers the lowest power SATA3 solution. The 1-port, 2-port and 4-port SAS2/SATA3 6.5Gbps solutions provide option for controlling transmit swing/de-emphasis and receive equalizer through either pin strap or through I²C configuration. PI3EQX6801 and PI2EQX6811 offer 1 port SAS2/SATA3 6.5Gbps solution. In addition, PI2EQX6811 provides I²C option for configuring the transmit and receive equalization, and swing parameters. PI2EQX6874 comes in space saving 56 pin TQFN (5x11mm) package through the elimination of pin strap configuration. Also, PI2EQX6812, PI2EQX6814 and PI2EQX6874 allow per channel configuration of transmit and receive signal integrity parameters.
