Pericom provides a comprehensive portfolio of components for the PCIe Gen3 based rack server platforms. A high speed PCIe Gen3 signal switch for slot expansion and a DDR3 switch for NAND flash backup of DDR data during power failure are provided for switching. For connectivity, they provide high speed ReDriver signal conditioning devices for the PCIe Gen 3 backplane as well as for SAS2/SATA3 storage interface. For timing, a clock reference is provided for the high speed serial connectivity applications such as in 10GE network interface card (NIC), Infiniband interface, solid state drive and hard disk drive. In addition, for the various PCIe Gen3 lanes, Pericom can provide timing references in the form of PCIe Gen3 oscillators and PCIe Gen3 clock buffers with good jitter performance.
