Centronics-Steckverbinder

Die Produkte aus dieser Familie sind Verbindungselemente, die üblicherweise für Draht-zu-Board-Verbindungen in Datenanwendungen verwendet werden. Diese Art des Steckverbinders, bei der ein D-förmiger Rahmen, der dem von D-Sub-Steckverbindern ähnelt, mit einem inneren Kontaktfeld kombiniert ist, das an eine Kartenrand-Verbindungslösung erinnert, wurde ab dem letzten Viertel des 20. Jahrhunderts häufig genutzt, um Drucker und ähnliche Peripheriegeräte mit dem Computer zu verbinden.
