SparkFun RedBoard Turbo Development Board | DigiKey Daily
SparkFun offers their RedBoard Turbo development board. Instead of using an older 8-bit, 16 megahertz microcontroller, the RedBoard Turbo uses the ATSAMD21G18, which is an ARM Cortex M0+, 32-bit microcontroller that can run at up to 48 megahertz. Other features include a USB interface for programming and power, a Qwiic connector, a WS2812-based addressable RGB LED, a 600 milliamp 3.3 volt regulator, a single-cell 3.7 to 4.2 volt lithium-polymer battery, and a variety of other components. As for its layout, it meets the Arduino 1.0 footprint standard, including a separate SPI header and additional I2C header. And thanks to its UF2 bootloader, the RedBoard Turbo shows up on your computer as a USB storage device without having to install drivers.
