Insulated 20mm Coin Cell Retainers
Keystone's low profile coin cell retainer targets 3- or 6-volt applications
The insulated, low profile coin cell battery retainers from Keystone Electronics is suited for high-density surface mount PCB applications.
It's unique, patent-pending design protects the battery from shorting if inserted incorrectly. This new retainer also allows the user to stack two 20 mm cells on top of each other to achieve 6 V of power from the same board footprint or for single cell 3 V applications. This retainer is rugged yet lightweight with clearly marked polarity and is designed for both lead-free solder and traditional reflow. The solder tails located outside the insulating material support visual inspection systems.
