Amphenol RF 2.92 mm connector series, commonly known as K connectors, offer precision-engineered performance tailored for satellite communications, lab instrumentation, and test environments. With an air dielectric and compact design, these connectors maintain exceptional RF characteristics while supporting seamless mating with SMA, 3.5 mm, and other K-type interfaces. Their rugged construction ensures reliable operation in demanding settings.
Built to the MIL-STD-348 interface standard, 2.92 mm connectors feature low VSWR, excellent return and insertion loss, and high power-handling capability, extending usable bandwidth up to 40 GHz. A shorter pin ensures that the outer bodies engage before the contacts, reducing wear and extending connector lifespan. These features make them ideal for high-frequency, high-reliability applications
