SYS/BIOS is tightly integrated into the CCS/Eclipse environment. This includes indexed and searchable help via the CCS help system as well as hover help. When users hover in C code over a SYS/BIOS API, they will get a short description of the API and its arguments. The CCS project wizard can be used to create the examples for all of the supported devices. SYS/BIOS apps can be built using CCS projects or via command line tools and external makefiles. CCS and the SYS/BIOS tools are supported on both Windows and Linux. Currently only the TI compilers are supported, although support for other compiler tools is under development.
