The two part connector system can stack cards between 16 and 40mm height. A real benefit is the connector’s ability to handle misalignment within certain parameters. A riser card can be inserted with up to two degrees deviation from true vertical end-to-end and up to three degrees forwards and backwards. This margin for mechanical misalignment is valuable for situations where space to access equipment during installation or maintenance may be limited and blind mating of components may be necessary.
