Analog Devices offers a wide variety of I²C devices to improve system reliability and communication. Dedicated rise time accelerators like the LTC4311 can help heavily capacitive busses meet I²C rise time specifications while keeping existing busses intact. Our bus buffers can break large non-compliant busses into smaller, compliant segments by using capacitive isolation while still passing clock and data to all bus segments simultaneously. In addition, most of these bus buffers provide built-in acceleration, stuck bus recovery, level translation, and the ability to hot swap data and clock. Users can also find bus multiplexers for expanding I²C address space.
