The ELUM™ features a spring-based latching mechanism that is independent of the electrical contact. It provides a soft feel (2.5 Newtons at full actuation) and a long life expectancy (30K cycles). Momentary versions are also available. Its self-cleaning SPDT contacts withstand current ranging from 0.01 to 250mA, with DC voltage from 20mV to 50V. Another important feature of the ELUM™ is the actuator’s extended travel. The switching travel is 1.7mm, the latching travel is 3.6mm, and the full actuation travel is 5.1mm.
