Panasonic has achieved low VF/IR in smaller packages through its new technology. The junction barrier Schottky is now built using a fine diffusion process of 0.25 micro meters. As a result of this technical edge, the leakage has been reduced and the trade-off line improved. It also leads to package miniaturization.
