In summary, first, Panasonic achieves low VF/IR in smaller package through a fine diffusion process of 0.25 micro meters. The leakage is reduced and trade-off line improves. Second, there are three types of junction barrier Schottky diode, the low IR, the low VF and the trade off types. These products are ideal for various applications such as rectification and reverse current prevention for mobile phones, PCs, DVCs, DSCs and so on. For DC/DC converters, the low VF type is recommended while for charging circuits, the low IR type is recommended.
