The EM2130 provides excellent output voltage ripple and load transient performance. At the full 30 A load, the output ripple is less than 10 mV. The EM2130 maintains excellent transient response while helping to reduce the bulk output capacitor count to save on cost, board space, and improve system reliability. For a typical 50% load step, the voltage deviation is less than 30 mV with the minimal base capacitance. The output capacitance can be scaled and easily compensated to further improve the transient response if necessary.
