Enpirion EM2130 Slide 3

The EM2130 operates from a wide 4.5 V to 16 V input range and provides 30 A of continuous current with no thermal derating up to 85˚C. Two different versions are available for output voltage selection - “L” and “H”. The “L” suffix is for 0.7 V to 1.325 V outputs and is well suited to power the processor/FPGA cores. The “H” suffix is for 1.325 V to 3.3 V outputs to provide an intermediate bus, power DDR, or provide other peripheral voltages in the system. The initial set point accuracy of 0.5% will help ease designs requiring very low output noise. The output ripple is a minimal sub 10 mV peak to peak, easily meeting the tightest processor or FPGA tolerance requirements. The EM2130 features a digital adaptive control loop which internally compensates the design for increased simplicity and ease of use. The EM2130 also features a PMBus compliant digital interface which enables flexibility in adjusting output voltage, fault/warning limits, and telemetry for device status monitoring. The EM2130 comes in a 11 x 17 x 6.76 mm QFN package and requires an overall solution size of around 360 mm2 including all external passives.
