The broadest array of markets and applications are appropriate for these products, including industrial controls and automation, medical, communications, datacom, networking, transportation, and office equipment. Any systems operating from battery power will be candidates for the MTC1, with its wide input range allowing continuing operation to low battery discharge levels. Another target application will be for equipment powered over long input lines, such as remote sensors; the wide input range of the MTC1 copes with the consequential variation of supply voltage.
