Depending on specifications, there are two case thicknesses available: 2.2mm and 3.2mm. Both case thicknesses have a footprint of 62mm x 42mm. The lead is a flat, flexible printed circuit board (FPC) and is available in two lengths (20mm and 42mm), providing the option of on- or off-board mounting. The lead mates with a standard ZIF Molex Connector. The lead is inserted into the back of the connector, so it is the connector pins that can be soldered to a PCB. The nickel-silver outer case provides a rigid outer shell, with the whole assembly able to withstand 10g of vibration. The weight of the 2.2mm thin version is 17g, while the weight of the 3.3mm version is 22g.
