14L Wire-to-Board 0.156” (3.96 mm) Pitch Connector

EDAC’s 14L wire-to-board in-line connector series is an ideal solution for engineers focused on maximizing efficiency in compact applications. This series offers many configurations, including customizable positions that accommodate thicker wire gauges and provide a balanced combination of size and functionality. The 0.156” (3.96 mm) contact pitch, featuring through-hole solder male contacts and female crimp contacts that are compatible with 22 AWG to 18 AWG wires, ensures reliable connectivity.

These wire-to-board connectors have an operating temperature range of -25°C to +105°C, with each 7 A contact capable of handling significant electrical loads. Vertical (top-entry) and right-angle (side-entry) configurations are available, allowing flexibility for integration onto the board. The low-profile insulator body, 0.126” (3.20 mm) wide and 0.343” (8.70 mm) high, fits onto PCB boards with a nominal thickness of 0.062” (1.60 mm), saving valuable board space.

The retention latch ensures a secure connection in high-stress conditions, while the overall design remains economical and suitable for both prototyping and production.
