The MIC2124 is member of the Hyper Speed Control™ family of DC-DC controllers. It is a synchronous current mode controller that has a switching frequency of 300kHz. Its Hyper Speed Control architecture enables ultra fast transient response, which reduces the output capacitor value required. This device can be adjusted to 0.8V output with an accuracy of +/-1%, and can provide up to 25A current drive. Some target markets are set-top-boxes, computer peripherals, and telecommunication devices. The MIC2124 is available in a compact, lead-free 10-pin MSOP package.
