Compliance to Latest Lighting Standard

The latest amendments of the IEC/EN61347 and UL8750 standards of LED lighting equipment requires the dimming circuit to have reinforced isolation from the primary output power. For designs that are not isolated, the dimming circuit will require additional safety evaluations, marking, and are subjected to more strict conditions of usage. The XLG family is designed to meet these new requirements, so the luminaire designers can design them in easily without additional evaluations.
