One application in the home health monitoring market segment is blood pressure monitoring. Blood pressure monitors are a great example for a scalable application that has slightly different requirements depending on the complexity of the system. A low-end blood pressure monitor can be designed for residential uses with requirements of minimum power consumption to support battery operation and low pin count options to reduce board size and overall system costs.
