In summary, the type UNL capacitors from Cornell Dubilier Electronics are constructed with a solid state dielectric which does not require the use of liquid electrolytes.  These capacitors can replace up to 4 snap-ins in applications requiring high ripple current - reducing component count and saving board space.  Also, their self healing capabilities and solid state construction enable them to have a longer life expectancy than other aluminum electrolytic snap-ins.
