ROHMs automotive regulators are divided into two categories. Primary regulators are designed to have a wide voltage range input, some as high as 60V. Secondary regulators are designed to have inputs up to 5.5V. Each category offers both switching regulators and linear regulators. This presentation will cover primary and secondary switching regulators.
