VOM160xT and VOM305xT Phototriacs

Vishay/Semiconductor's broadens its optoelectronics portfolio with the release of five non-zero crossing phototriacs in the compact, industry-standard SOP-4 package. The devices are electrically equivalent to Vishay’s VO305x in the SMD DIP-6 package, but save up to 66% board space by comparison.

The VOM160xT series phototriacs have an IRED trigger current of 5 mA, 7 mA, and 10 mA. The VOM3052 and VOM3053 phototriacs have a LED trigger current of 5 mA for VOM3053 and 10 mA for VOM3052. The VOM160xT and VOM305xT series phototriacs isolate low-voltage logic from 120 VAC, 240 VAC, and 380 VAC lines to control resistive, inductive, or capacitive loads including motors, solenoids, high current thyristors or TRIACs, and relays.
