Taitien’s OB-U type oscillator for high-speed networking environments offers ultra-low RMS phase jitter of 50 fs (typical) and 100 fs (maximum) to ensure unparalleled signal stability. The oscillator is critical for clocking 800 Gbps high data rate optical modules used for PAM4 signal modulation within coherent networks. Its key features include high-frequency capability of up to 220 MHz, tight stabilities, low jitter, and low power consumption. Taitien’s OB-U type is packaged in a 2.5 mm x 2.0 mm form factor and selectable with either LVPECL, LVDS, or HCSL outputs. Frequency stabilities options include ±25 ppm over -40°C to +85°C or ±50 ppm over -40°C to +125°C.
