Silicon Labs’ BGX220 pre-programmed Bluetooth modules provide a BLE cable replacement solution with no wireless firmware development required. Using only the BGX220's UART interface, embedded systems can connect and communicate across a BLE link to smartphones and other BGX devices. Additional features such as an I2C master interface for BLE-to-I2C communication, GPIO control, and event monitoring with autonomous response provide more ways of adding features to designs with no code development necessary.
