Murata's highly accurate capacitive MEMS sensor features low noise and minimal temperature drift
Murata's ZPA4756-0311A-R waterproof SMT barometric pressure sensor is excellent for detecting atmospheric pressure. Based on Murata’s innovative MEMS capacitive sensor technology, this pressure sensor consists of a MEMS element, a capacitor-to-digital converter (CDC), and a digital block with digital correction, calibration non-volatile memory bits, and SPI/12C interfaces.
The device calculates the pressure value using a capacitance value output from the MEMS element. The small SMD size of 3.0 mm x 3.0 mm x 2.1 mm is ideal for smartwatches and other small form-factor applications that require an accurate atmospheric pressure measurement.
