The wider ground terminal also helps efficient heat dissipation. The HPT series is a thin-film based terminator and thin-film does not have any innate stress and repeated power cycling does not fatigue the element and causes no change in impedance.

The HPT series is offered in several different sizes from 0603 to 3725 with a very high power rating. Depending on sizes high-frequency characteristics vary but 0603 size HPT can functional up to 15 GHz. This product is suitable for any high-frequency termination need such as wireless base stations and high-frequency power sources.
