ESDALCxx-1U2 Single Line Protection

The ESDALCxx-1U2 series of single line protection diodes are 67% smaller than previous generation alternatives. STMicroelectronics has used advanced technologies combining the ultra small ST0210 package (0.18 mm²) with high surge-handling capabilities in order to withstand the toughest IEC61000-4-2 ESD test. The series includes ESDALC6V1-1U2 and ESDALC14V2-1U2 with voltages of 6.1 V and 14.2 V respectively. Additional benefits are provided such as low leakage current and low device capacitance resulting in lower power consumption, higher speed and lower clamping voltage in the application. The ESDALCxx-1U2 features are highly desired in portable devices for Telecom, Consumer and Medical where pcb space and power consumption have become critical along with more ESD sensitivity circuitry.
