Image of Sensata Crydom ED Series Solid State RelaysSensata | Crydom's ED series DC output plug-in solid-state relays (SSRs) are designed to replace industry-standard 12 mm x 29 mm plug-in electromechanical relays (EMRs) but with substantial performance advantages over traditional EMR switching solutions in many applications. As with all SSRs, without any moving parts to wear, these switching units are naturally more reliable and faster than conventional electromechanical devices. Adding additional benefits, the ED series of SSRs offer contactless, chatter-free switching. They are pluggable into DIN rail mount sockets, have a high life expectancy, and present flexible input options of either 12 VDC or 24 VDC, making them ideal for a multitude of applications where critical dependability is a must.

Available in an SPST N.O. configuration, the ED series offers output ratings of both 5 A or 10 A at 1 VDC to 100 VDC. International approvals include UL508 recognition, IEC rating, and CE compliance which means ease of implementation to existing or retrofit projects with worry-free global acceptance.
