Renesas' FemtoClock3 provides industry-leading phase noise and jitter, ideal for up to 224 Gbps SerDes rates, and with a high level of integration that supports up to four frequency domains with low power dissipation. FemtoClock 3 supports multiple operating modes, including synchronization, jitter attenuation, and clock generation. The FemtoClock3 family eliminates complex discrete solutions for high-speed interfaces by supporting reference clock needs up to 112 Gbps while enhancing thermal reliability and simplifying PCB layout.
- <60 fs (typ) with IOD, 120 fs (typ) with FOD, 12 kHz to 20 MHz
- Low power dissipation: <1.2 W in full configuration
- Up to four independent frequency domains
- Acts as clock generator or jitter attenuator
- Compliant with ITU-T G.8262 for SyncE/OTN (EEC/OEC) and ITU-T G.8262.1 for SyncE/OTN (eEEC/eOEC)
