Renesas CCE4511 evaluation board evaluates two CCE4511 IO-Link master transceiver ICs for a total of eight IO-Link channels with M12 A-coded connectors

Image of Renesas CCE4511 4-Channel IO-Link MasterRenesas CCE4511 4-channel IO-Link master features a high-voltage interface, overvoltage detection, and high temperature and overcurrent protections based on a 0.18 μm HV-BCD CMOS technology. Typical applications are industrial IO modules, which support the IO-Link standard. An integrated IO-Link frame handler is provided, automating most of the lower-layer communication tasks to improve the application performance. This reduces the microcontroller loads significantly, thus gaining more performance for other tasks, even if slower microcontrollers are used.

The Renesas CCE4511 evaluation board allows users to evaluate two CCE4511 IO-Link master transceiver ICs for a total of eight IO-Link channels with M12 A-coded connectors. Each channel includes a MOSFET (NMOS) and additional on-board protection circuitry.
