RC11xx-MBUS3 RF Module

Radiocrafts’ RC1140, RC1160, RC1170-MBUS RF transceiver modules are compact surface-mounted high-performance modules with embedded Wireless M-Bus protocol. Different frequencies for S, T, and R modes are implemented to support the powerful Wireless M-Bus protocol where the nominal operational frequencies are not license-free. The network topology is point-to-multipoint or peer-to-peer with an optional repeater. The module has a UART interface for serial communication and configuration and a one-pin antenna connection.

The MBUS3 modules are compliant to the Open Metering System (OMS) specification, an open standard for communication interfaces that aims for equipment interoperation. OMS is used by several utilities for smart metering.

An RF module from Radiocrafts is compatible with the Wireless M-Bus standard and is an active contributor of technical expertise to the standardization work at both the European level (CEN) and the national level (OMS and WIZE).
