Antennas for Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) and LTE Band 71 Applications

Pulse Electronics (a YAGEO company) offers multiple antennas that support emerging LTE frequencies, including Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) and LTE Band 71. CBRS operates on a shared spectrum from 3550 MHz to 3700 MHz and has applications for communications and IoT for factories, airports, ports, indoor and outdoor applications. Band 71 is an FCC-licensed LTE spectrum operating from 617 MHz to 698 MHz. At this low frequency, radio transmissions have excellent propagation characteristics versus higher bands.

The SPDA24617/3900 antenna is a swivel dipole with SMA connector. The W3929B0100 is a peel-and-stick type flexible circuit antenna with 100 mm of coax pigtail with connector. Both offer good gain, efficiency, and omnidirectional radiation patterns. The W1696, W1696-M, W1696WM, and W1697 are a family of stubby stick antennas that trade off performance for small size.
