ODU AMC® Series T Square Flange Receptacles

ODU AMC series T highly reliable, sealed connectors are available with three locking options, including push-pull, break-away, and screw-lock, that mate to a unique 3-in-1 receptacle design. The connectors are available in two sizes – shell sizes 9 and 12 – smaller than the competitive 38999 products. The ODU AMC series T is compatible with standard MIL backshells such as AS85049. Customers can choose the locking type, the cable connection, the size, the insert, and the number of contacts. Series T connectors are available with square flange receptacles that seamlessly fit onto MIL-DTL-38999 cutouts for easier implementation in existing systems.

The ODU AMC series T square flange receptacles, an extension of the initial series T product line, have a rectangular flange that complies with the cutout dimensions according to MIL-DTL 38999. The square solution is currently available for sizes 9 and 12, each with seven different inserts, enabling flexible adjustment that can be fully adapted to the specific requirements of the applications. For maximum flexibility, ODU offers the square flange solution as a standard or reverse gender type with three connection options, including backshell, crimp-sleeve/band-it, or PCB. Assembly is possible from both the front and rear using four M3 screws and MIL-C-38999 sealing, creating seamless integration and simple field assembly.

Communication devices are often retrofitted into military vehicles or upgraded in the field. For this purpose, drilling holes for cable laying and device assembly is carried out on-site as needed. Square flange mounting makes this type of installation easier because the holes and distances can be standardized. ODU has also made integrating the square flange solution into existing systems as simple as possible. The mounting dimensions of the ODU AMC series T square flange receptacles comply with the standard specified by MIL-DTL-38999, allowing the receptacles to fit seamlessly into existing cutouts.
