Analog Devices' MAX14775EASA+ transceivers are optimized for robust communication in noisy environments.
Analog Devices' MAX14775EASA+ is a fault-protected RS-485/RS-422 transceiver that features ±65 V protection for overvoltage signal faults on communication bus lines, which is optimized to ensure communication in harsh, noisy industrial environments. The device contains one driver and one receiver, and can operate over 3 V to 5.5 V supply ranges. The IC is optimized for high-speed data rates up to 20 Mbps.
This transceiver has a large 200 mV (typ) hysteresis on receiver inputs, assuring high noise rejection. The failsafe feature guarantees a logic-high on the receiver output when the inputs are open or shorted. Driver outputs are protected against short-circuit conditions.
