Center of Gravity Kits (CG Kits)
Loadstar’s high-accuracy CG kit comes with fully calibrated sensors, interface, CG software, and a four-port USB hub
Loadstar’s CG kit employs a sophisticated four-load cell scale system to measure the CG of an object with high precision in two dimensions (x-y). The weight is measured individually at the four corners by placing the object at the center of the scale platform. Utilizing the known locations of the load cells, the software computes the sum of moments and divides it by the total weight to pinpoint the CG in both x and y coordinates. The CG kit includes everything needed, the four load cells, four interfaces, and the CG software, to get started immediately. It comes pre-calibrated and comes with the LV-4000 CG software.
Connect the load cell + DI-1000U pairs to a Windows PC or tablet, and users are ready to go. The CG software displays the individual weights on each load cell and visualizes the CG of the object in 2D space. It supports three- and four-point CG measurements, making it versatile for various applications. Whether studying the weight and balance distribution of static objects or observing dynamic changes in CG, the software provides real-time monitoring and logging. This feature is particularly useful for applications involving human or animal studies, where understanding the balance and distribution is crucial.
