ZXLD1370 High Accuracy LED Driver
Diodes' versatile LED driver increases reliability of high brightness lamps
Diodes' ZXLD1370 is a high accuracy LED driver controller that is used with an external MOSFET sized for the expected LED current. It can be configured for operation with a buck, boost, or buck-boost converter. The device can drive up to 16 LEDs in series and operate with an input voltage of 6.5 V to 60 V. Series connection of the LEDs provides identical LED currents, resulting in uniform brightness eliminating the need for ballast resistors.
The ZXLD1370 switches at frequencies up to 1 MHz, which allows the use of small size external components, hence reducing the solution footprint. The ZXLD1370 provides a simple, high reliability solution for driving multiple high brightness LEDs in buck, boost, or buck-boost topologies.
